Just over a week into the new look special Celebs Go Dating bumpers appeared once more on E4, usually used to lead in and out of breaks, although occasionally used just to break up other channel elements. Marking the fifth series of the reality show, the celebs now appear against new E4 backgrounds, with Sam Craske featuring in this one.

Special break bumpers were introduced to E4 in January 2019 to count down to their latest heavily promoted reality show Shipwrecked. Each features a scene from around the islands involved, with a changing daily countdown being used in the week in the run up to the start of the series. 7 days still to go for this version, used on January 21st.

Another break bumper for E4 airing across January 22nd 2019, to mark 6 days to go until the start of their new Shipwrecked series.

Break bumpers marking 5 days to go until the start of E4's Shipwrecked series, as aired on January 23rd 2019. This day's bumper featured shots of a flag rather than the aerial shots of the island used in previous bumpers.

Initially the end of break bumpers for E4 continued to use the regular E4 set, with the countdown bumpers only airing at the start of breaks. However as the start of the Shipwrecked series moved closer, the channel changed to use slides with the programmes title on for the end of a break.

The break bumper marking 4 days to go featured the other camp's flag, a shot which had featured in the trailers. Aired throughout January 24th 2019.

Only 3 more days to go with the E4 break bumper, as aired on January 25th. This time round the brief flash of action shows a speedboat approaching the islands.

Some swimming in the ocean was used for the '2 days to go' flash, aired on January 26th to promote the upcoming series of Shipwrecked on E4. Possibly not the best video content to try and encode on the low bitrate available for the standard definition channel.

For the day before the start of Shipwrecked, January 27th, the wording on the E4 break bumper changed from 'x days to go' to include the starting time as well.

After the Shipwrecked series began on January 28th, a series of breakbumpers were introduced for use throughout the week promoting their regular 9pm slot, in a similar style to the countdown bumpers. In this one, people are playing games in the sand.

Series 6 of Celebs Go Dating appeared in schedules for late February 2019, with breakbumpers once again appearing on E4 to promote the show, albeit somewhat abstractly. A little different in style this time as they don't feature the reality TV stars over an E4 background, but instead just tack the regular channel wallpaper on the end instead. These appeared in the last week before the series would begin, with Shipwrecked having been taking up breaks until then. David Potts appears in this bumper.

To coincide with the launch of their new 'bums on seats' campaign over on the main channel, E4 added the 'StayAtHome' hashtag, and ensured most continuity announcements on the first evening referenced their new 'bums on seats' message. Part of Channel 4's contribution to the COVID-19 crisis of 2020.

COVID-19 threw the original plans for Celebs Go Dating in 2020 off somewhat, but as the UK moved into January 2021 Channel 4 managed to bring the show back in some form now set in a large mansion. Special break bumpers also made a reappearance, this time featuring shots of the mansion rather than celebrities.
