CITV 30th Birthday 2013

This promo advertises the upcoming weekend of shows on the CITV Channel, with clips from across the last 3 decades.

For use across the weekend, a few short idents were put together featuring a medley of previous elements from CITV's history to make up the Old Skool Weekend logo.

A very rarely used longer version of the CITV 30th birthday weekend ident. Enjoy those extra few seconds of sound effects!

Some very brief flashes of the same animation style used in the main birthday idents were used to lead into breaks on the CITV Channel.

As they had a bunch of celebrity talking heads in anyway to produce a documentary for ITV1, someone decided to put this to good use and pre-record a small selection of happy birthday greetings for playout throughout the weekend.

Although many of the birthday greeting sequences were repeated over the weekend, a few different variants did exist. This is version 2.

Another variation of the CITV Old Skool Weekend 30th birthday greetings. Matthew Kelly returns again, after having played a big role in the 20th birthday celebrations too.

A fourth variation on the 30th Birthday Greetings for CITV. Old CITV stalwart Fred Dinenage gets a look in this time.

Slides were produced for every show over the weekend, with the date of first transmission included. Coming up next Super Gran.

Leading us in to Wizadora.

A little different this time in that the slide is used as an End Credit Promotion, but the same visual style is in use to promote The Raggy Dolls.

The Sooty Show will be along next, bringing us Sooty from the 80s. One of a few shows during the weekend to have an older episode from the 80s contrasted by a newer episode from the 90s.
